Hafiz of Quran Syed Mujtaba Rizvi who visited Melbourne on 22nd October 2006, is from India. He became a Hafiz at a very young age of 8. He was granted a PHD from Karachi University (Pakistan) in 2002. He is also a Gold Medalist at the Quran Foundation of Karachi (Pakistan).

On 8th Sep., 2006 , Panjtan Society of Victoria celebrated the 12th Imam (A.S)'s Wiladat. On this occassion, the Panjtan School students gave speeches on the Fazayal of Imam Mahdi A.S.

The Panjtan Society School sudents are a vital part of the future members of the shia community in Melbourne. They work hard all year long and study and indulge in extra curricular activities.
