NORTHERN MEMORIAL PARK (Fawkner Cemetry)
Couple of years ago PSV Funeral Sub-Committee took on a very important and huge project of pre-purchasing a block of the graves in the Hoddle area of Northern Memorial Park (Fawkner cemetery). These would remain a section for only PSV members within the cemetery. All interested members of the Community purchased these graves for their own families.
Please note that up to two members of your family can be buried in one grave. This is according to the Islamic Sharia. The graves are 9’ deep. The location of our section within the Muslim Area of Northern Memorial Park at Hoodle Area: Row AF - AJ. Attached please find the Map for easy reference and directions. Majlis at Northern Memorial Park (PSV Section)
A regular majlis on 3rd Saturday of each month is being held at 3:30 pm (sharp) at Northern Memorial Park (Fawkner Qabristan) for the benefit of all Marhumein. It is our duty to remember them and organize a small Majlis in their benefit. This will also give an opportunity to our members to see the Qabristan that we have acquired as that is our permanent home.
Our Resident Alim, Maulana Syed Abul Qasim Rizvi delivers the majalis.
Majalis will also be held on Ashura day, Eid-ul Fitr day and Eid-ul-Adha day.

1. Turn on Box Forest Rd from Hume Hwy (Sydney Rd)
2. Entre Northern Memorail Park on Victoria Boulevard
3. At the first roundabout, turn Right onto Bass Ave
