been running for the last 18 years.
Currently Panjtan School enrols 112 students. These students come from many
different ethnic backgrounds that includes Pakistan, India, Singapore, Bosnia, Iraq,
Somalia, Lebanan and East African countries.
It runs classes for grade Prep, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 & Senior, and is aligned with
Victorian School Grades, which means students are enrolled in the same grade at Panjtan
School as they are in the school (with some exceptions).
The school follows syllabus from World Federation which is also followed by
most of the Shia Communities around the world. The syllabus is also available on
Pantjan website under “Panjtan School” link.
The school runs on every Sunday from 12:30pm to 3:30pm and follows a proper timetable through out the year. The major subjects that are taught at the school are
Quran, Fiqh, Islamic History and Akhlaaq (off campus learning). All these subjects
are taught in English.
Apart from these subjects students are also taught Namaaz, Wadhu, Duas and Ziaraats.
Various Tests, Exams and Competitions are held through out the year in all the
classes in order to assess the students. At the end of every year a prize distribution
ceremony is held for various achievements.
The School has a proper Admin Team which takes care and facilitate all the
activities of the school. This Admin Team has to work closely with the teachers and
